Today Armenak Ghazaryan of the ministry of culture held a meeting. He announced that by the decision of RA Government 19 cultural items can not be taken from RA territory.

“The three of those 19 items are kept in the museum of History. They are the carriage of Ltchashen, the door of Msho Apostolic church, and the record of Yerevan foundation; the other items are kept in Matenadaran,” said Ghazaryan.

According to him other cultural items are allowed to be taken abroad temporary. “When taking a cultural value abroad, the condition of the particular item is checked and a record is prepared, after taking back the same process is being repeated,” he said.

Cultural items with the author’s signature, which is 50 years old or less, could be taken away without any process. According to Ghazaryan, the packaging system has been developed recently and not a single cultural item was defected when taking abroad.
