BE CAREFUL: CHRONIC DISEASES ACTIVATED
“82% of Armenians get medical treatments from medical centers working in the frame of the municipality, and the rest from private and university policlinics,” said Armen Soghoyan, the head of health and social affairs department of the municipality. The head of the department said that, people should be careful as the chromic diseases become more activated especially in spring.
A. Soghoyan said that 4 multi profile medical centers work under the municipality activities. Those centers were established in 2004. They include stationary medical centers, birthing centers, and policlinics. Besides, Nork Marash medical center, heart disease scientific institute, and anti tuberculosis dispensary are also covered by the municipality.
“Heart disease scientific center is the only center in Armenia, and Nork Marash has regional importance,” he said.
