ARONYAN LEADS COMPETITION
Levon Aronyan, Armenian Grand Master, the champion of “Chorus Chess 2008” leads the competition of Morella-Linares. Our chess player won Ukrainian Vasili Ivanchuk. Aronyan has 2.5 scores on his account, Veselin Topalov, Vishvanat Anand have the same amount of scores.
After the 4th circle Shirov and Leko have 2 scores each and are in the 4th and 5th horizontals. Radjabov, Karlsen, and Ivanchuk have 1.5 scores. Note that the first part of the competition takes place on 15-23 February in Morela, Mexico. And the second part is arranged for 28 February to 7 March in Linares, Spain. The competition is held for the third time.
