FIRST ROUND: 1-4 HORIZONTALS
The first part of Morelia/Linares tournament held in Morelia, Spain is over. After the seven round Viswanathan Anand the Indian GM played with Ukrainian Vassily Ivanchuk (1/2). Now Anand leads the tournament.
Alexei Shirov is in the second horizontal. He played with Azeri Teimour Radjabov and won him. He has 4 scores on his account. Bulgarian Veselin Topalov has the same amount of scores and is in the third horizontal.
Armenian GM, “Chorus Chess 2008” champion Levon Aronyan has 3.5 scores. He lost his game playinh with 17 years old Norwegian Magnus Carlsen.
