LEVON ARONYAN IN THIRD PLACE
The other day Morelia-Linares international tournament finished. Armenian GM Levon Aronyan gained the third horizontal. According to the official website of the tournament Armenian GM finished in a draw with Hungarian Peter Leko. In fact this last round gave nothing to the players as they all ended in draw their games.
The Indian GM Wishwanathan Anand became the champion for the second time. This is his third significant victory in the international tournaments. The record of Linares tournaments belongs to Kasparov who gained the first horizontal for 9 times.
