FROM INTERVIEW WITH SERZH SARGSYAN
-Is it possible that the same scene as in Russia repeats here in Armenia also, and the ongoing president becomes Prime Minister?(Davit)
-Me and Kocharyan, we’re fare to announce it before the elections if we had such plan, as Putin and Medvedev did in Russia.
-Who will be the Prime Minister?
I do not have any final decision, but after forming the government I promise to organize a meeting like this one and answer to all the questions which have to deal with the government. Now I van not say who will be the Prime Minister and when it will be announced.
-I heard that you have a list of 65 officials who will be fired or accused. (Arshak Hayiryan)
-The information is not a true one; I do not have such list. But those who make crimes, who get bribes, or if the requestor is certain for the news, then the court has to deal with the problem. There will be some changes, and the figure 65 is a small one. The context of the question is probably right but the figure is not.
-Will there be changes in system? (Anonymous)
-To tell the truth I can not answer the question now whether there will be changes in system or not. There will be serious changes. If the requestor get acquainted with my pre election campaign and plans then it will be obvious that there will be serious changes. We planned several ambitious plans and if we manage to gain them the nit will be the best development. By the way, the ARF will also participate in the coalition government. Soon, we’ll [resent our political project and not the government staff.
-Don’t you think that our Generals are real criminals, and aren’t they too many? (Anonymous)
-I don’t think that there are many Generals in Armenia. I have always made comparisons with our neighbors Russia, NATO army figures, and compared the number of Generals. We’ve always been a step back from them. I would not like to speak about some talked opinions and would like to mention that our Generals are real Generals with appropriate skills, and knowledge.
-Do you have certain plans on public’s disruption?
-It is certain that the disruption should be softened. And I have been always for the dialogue. But if Levon Ter-Petrosyan keeps insisting on that he is a president voted by 65%, if he does not accept the Constitutional Court decision, and call me criminal or Tatar Mongol, then what you are talking about, what dialogue can be held between us. Since March 2 we held discussion with those who wish to talk with us. We do not escape from dialogues.
