“MORE FREEDOM”
“I have promised, and I promise now that we’ll have more freedom. If the requestor did not mean smearing as freedom, then he’ll be totally free. I have talked about it several of times, and I reaffirm it once more,” answered the Prime Minister, president elect Serzh Sargsyan in A TV discussion answering to citizens’ questions.
To the question what chances have the mass voted for Levon Ter-Petrosyan, how they could participate in political life, he answered: “The opposition mass were not 350 thousands that mass voted for Arthur Baghdasaryan and other candidates also. Thus there is not a danger in it, as I do not recollect any developed country where the president was elected by 60, 70 or 80%.”
“Compared with our country, they think that the only true way to create government is elections. The same mass can actively take part in the future elections and get more experience for the next parliamentary and presidential elections,” he said.
He reminded that “Heriatge” party supported Levon Ter-Petrosyan, and this party is in the parliament and they raise many questions in the parliament. “We plan to make some changes in legislation and guarantee more right to the minority of the parliament,” he said.
