AFRICAN PLAGUE VICTIMS GET COMPENSATIONS
Today the deputy Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan held a labor meeting and affirmed the list of people who had losts because of the African swine plague in 2007. The people will get compensations from the government. The information is provided by the public relations department of the Territorial Administration.
According to the source, in the last meeting the deputy Prime Minister ordered to the heads of the regions to verify the list. According to 1 January 2008 data 14 779 swine were killed in Armavir, Ararat, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Lori, Tavush, Gegharkunik and Yerevan.
H. Abrahamyan ordered to publish the list of names of people who should get the compensation. It is planned to start the activities on Monday.
