RUSSIA CONSTRUCTS NEW ATOMIC POWER STATION
Russia is ready to construct new atomic power station in Armenia, said the representative of the “Inter RAO YES” company Andrew Roppoport. Yesterday he gave an interview to Armenian 2 TV station and said “we plan to carry out not only the management of the ongoing atomic power station but also to construct the new one.”
At the same time he mentioned that the company can act as an investor and as an engineer too. “We have some confusion. It is already five years we have managed the station and we think that it is a great investment but we have not yet got our income,” he said.
Note that Armenians atomic power station was exploited in 1976 January and closed in 1989. Because of the energetic crisis the second block was opened in 1995. And in 2003 the financial part of the station were transferred to the current company. According to the experts the station could act till 2016.
