POVERTY IN 2012 11.2%
“The Government finds the level of poverty in the country very high and is conscious of taking quick measures to meet that,” is written in the executive activities project affirmed by the Government in the special session held on today.
According to the document in 1999-2006 poverty figure has been decreased twice: 1999- 56.1% and 2006- 26.5%. The extreme poverty has been decreased 5 times from 21% to 4.1%.
The mission of the government project is to fix 11.2% poverty in 2012. “In this regard the Government should continue cooperation with the interested bodies and affirm the project of Poverty challenges,” says the report.
