Today the Ambassador of Lebanon received the committee of supporting Zhirayr Sefilyan and Vardan Malkhasyan to discuss excelling of the Zhirayr Sefilyan, said Armen Aghayan a member of the group in a press conference today. “The Ambassador is also concerned with the issue,” said Aghayan and added that the ambassador does not have a right to interrupt the court cases of another country.

“If he is excelled they can take care of their citizen,” he said.

Note that since 9 December 2006 Zhirayr Sefilyan is considered Lebanon citizen.

As for the letter sent to the president of NKR Bako Sahakyan by Zhirayr Sefilyan, Aghayan said that according to the decision made by B. Sahakyan people of Artsakh will become aware of how their president treats with the commander of Artsakh war.

Remind: Sefilyan applied to the president of NKR requesting and asking to give him a political asylum and citizenship, but the answer was that such question will be discussed after the correspondent law is adopted.

“ARF will let the president Serzh Sargsyan know about its view point whether to give citizenship to Sefilyan,” said H. Margaryan.

Note that Zhirayr Sefilyan has once been an ARF member.
