JOINT EXAMS STARTED
Today early in the morning joint exams started in Armenia. It is the second year school graduates and those who should pass entrance exams for the university pass join exams in certain subjects the result of which id considered as a single mark for finishing school and entering university.
To pass joint exams 19 centers were founded in Yerevan, and in total 55 centers were founded in the country and of the centers is in the NKR. 11592 school graduates applied for entering universities and in total 14 thousands school graduates will pass joint exams.
According to the data disposed by Manuk Mkrtchyan the director of knowledge testing center 15 thousands applications were received from Armenian language and literature subject, 10 thousands 56 applications from mathematics, 10 thousands from foreign languages – 7806 for English, 563 for German, 21 for Spanish, 3 for Italian, 1483 for Russian, 514 French.
The exams of Armenian language and literature will be held on 2 June, Russian – 7; mathematics – 11, foreign language – 17 June. On 1-10 June extra exams will be organized for those who were absent.
