RODION SHCHEDRIN AND MAYA PLISECKAIA IN ARMENIA
On 11-14 June a range of concerts is organized to take place in Aram Khachatryan concert hall and Komitas Chamber Music Hall where Rodion Shchedrin’s pieces of music will be presneted, said Gayane Durgaryan the head of public relations department of the Ministry of Culture, in a press conference today.
Note that “Rodion Shchedrin’s Days” are announced in the frameworks of “XXI perspectives” music festival on 11-14 June in Yerevan.
Today Russian composer has been awarded by golden medal of the Culture Ministry of Armenia handed by Minister Hasmik Poghosyan. The composer was also present at the meeting and said that Armenia is his favorite country. Note that the composer arrived in Armenia with his wife famous bullet dancer Maya Pliseckaia.
