UN SUPPORTS ARMENIA AS SUFFERED COUNTRY
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations signed a memorandum according to which FAO provides 500 thousands US Dollars to Armenia. The Memorandum has been signed by the Minister of Agriculture of Armenia Aramayis Grigoryan and the representative of FAO Eastern Europe and Central Asia region Maria Kadlechikova.
The current support to the country is to handle the problem of food crisis in the country. In the frames of the program more suffered farmers will be given a support.
In the frames of this program the Organization will provide 21mln dollars to 48 countries.
