“FRANCE TELECOM” RECEIVED LICENSE
Today the Public Services Regulatory Commission announced “France Telecom” the winner of the tender of the third cellular operator in Armenia. The Commission authorized the company to exploit cellular communications net, to use radio frequencies and to apply for phone numbers in Armenia.
By the decision of the Commission “France Telecom” is a licensed company. According to the law if in 2 weeks the participants of the tender don’t protest the results will remain the same.
According to the license, the company will invest 200 million euros; will open at least 1 office in 42 cities of Armenia, and place open air GSM system.
