SAXOPHONISTS’ COMPETITION
On November 1-6 saxophonists’ state competition will be conducted in Yerevan, said Gayane Durgaryan the head of public relations department of the Ministry of Culture to Panorama.am. The competition is organized by the Ministry of Culture, State Conservatory of Yerevan and “Young Saxophonists of Armenia” NGO.
According to the source in recent years Armenian saxophonists have played in various international competitions and have proved their skills and talent receiving different awards. “Taking the initiative to organize the first competition of saxophonists, the organizers want to improve the interest towards this instrument among young people,” said G. Durgaryan.
