“FROM GLOBAL THINKING TO CERTAIN ACTIVITIES”
“The comprehensive initiatives that we have taken with the Central Bank, gave us an opportunity to resist the first wave of the world financial crisis. Today we have new task to meet the new challenges of the crisis,” says the Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan presenting State Budget 2009 during National Assembly session.
According to the Prime Minister, the Government should adopt “from global thinking to certain activities” slogan and do everything to guarantee “the planned economic growth, macroeconomic growth and the stability of financial-economic sector”.
The Prime Minister mentioned that implementation of pan-Armenian projects based on state-private sector cooperation is a tool to contribute to the economic growth, in particular, construction of new atomic power station and Iran-Armenia railroad, establishment of All-Armenian bank and investment and hypothec foundations.
