ARMENIA TO TAKE PART IN XINJIANG ANNUAL FAIR
Today the Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan received the delegation of Xinjiang Autonomous Region of the Chinese Democratic Republic. The members of the delegation are the Chairman of Pan-Chinese Council, the Vice President of the regional government, other staff members and businessmen, who have arrived in Armenia to start cooperation in certain fields with Armenia.
The Prime Minister said that Armenian side is ready to start discussion for the cooperation signifying tight communication in social-economic, cultural and other spheres with China. Tigran Sargsyan mentioned that effective cooperation could contribute to meet the challenges of world financial crisis.
Xinjiang region has more than 21 million population, and the head of the delegation presented the status and the plans of the developing region and mentioned that they are interested in cooperating with Armenia in production of constructive materials, energy, industry, agriculture and other spheres.
Armenia was invited to participate in Xinjiang annual fair, where numerous other cooperation plans could be discussed.
