MINISTER OF EDUCATION CONCLUDED THE YEAR
The Minister of Education and Science Spartak Seyranyan has presented to the journalists the brief report of the year.
The Minister said that by the decision of the Government a strategy has been adopted to develop the quality of pre-school education. Pilot program is implementing in 22 schools of Lori and Shirak where 540 children are included. S. Seyranyan mentioned that reforms have been made in certification procedure of the teachers and school directors.
The Minister mentioned that certain measures were taken to establish internet network system in the schools, to equip the schools with computers. This year “Armenian Educational Portal” internet web site /www.armedu.am/ has been launched.
