GEORGIA BLOCKS GAS FLOW TO ARMENIA?
Natural gas flow from Russia to Armenia through Georgia will be stopped, reports Trend Capital. Today the Minister of Energy of Georgia Alexander Khetaguri is going to make an announcement in this regard.
Note that Georgia gets 10% of transit gas. The country has tried to hold negotiations with Russia to make some changes in gas price which they get but Russia is intended to make no changes.
The Minister of Energy of Georgia rejected the announcement made by the Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin who said that irrespective of political conflict with Georgia Russia provides natural gas to them. Mr. Khetaguri said that they receive gas from Azerbaijan and not from Russia.
