FIFA AWARDED TEAMS OF ARMENIA AND TURKEY
Yesterday, during the award giving ceremony of FIFA, Armenian football federation has been granted “Fair game” prize for contributing to the improvement of peace in the world. Turkish football federation has been also granted the same prize by FIFA. Ruben Hayrapetyan the president of the federation went Zurich to receive the prize. He made a speech and notified that football made the two countries closer.
To remind that on 6 September, 2008 the football teams of Armenia and Turkey met in Yerevan and the President of Turkey Abdullah Gul visited Armenia to be present at the match.
