“CORUS CHESS 2009” STARTS
Today “Corus Chess 2009” championship starts in Wijk aan Zee, the Netherlands. Armenian GM, Golden Medal holder of World Olympic Games Levon Aronyan participates in the championship.
Another Armenian GM Sergey Movsisyan who presents Slovakia also participates in the championship. GMs Morozevich (Russia), Ivanchuk, Karjakin (Ukraine), Carlsen (Norway), Radjabov (Azerbaijan), Wang Yue (China), Adams (England), Kamsky (USA), Dominguez (Cuba), van Wely, Stellwagen, Smeets (Netherlands) also participate in the event.
The championship will finish on February 1.
