“BLUE STREAM” GAS PIPELINE SIGNIFICANT FOR RUSSIAN-TURKISH RELATIONS
“Blue Stream” gas pipeline is a significant part of the Russian-Turkish cooperation in the field of energy engineering, said the President of Turkey Abdullah Gul in his interview to Russian “Vesti”. The President of Turkey starts his state visit to the Russian Federation today. According to Gul the gas pipeline established within the short period of time is a success.
“Currently we think over “Blue Stream2” project to provide Southern Europe with Russian gas through Turkey. We think that it is quite realistic. We discuss cooperation possibilities with Russia in other spheres also, such as atomic energy, gas reserves in the territory of Turkey. The experts are currently discussing all these issues,” said the President.
