ARONIAN LOST HIS CHANCE OF WINNER
The 13th round of Linares tournament is over. Armenian GM Levon Aronian who played with black figures was defeated by Ukrainian Vassily Ivanchuk and lost his chance to win the tournament. Ukrainian Ivanchuk equaled his points with Alexander Grishchuk who ended his game with Anand in draw.
Currently Grishchuk and Icanchuk who have 7,5 points each lead the tournament. Magnus Carlsen has 7 points and occupies the third horizontal. Anand has 6,5 points and Aronian 6 points.
Today Levon Aronian’s rival will be Grishchuk. Aronian should do everything to make his rate better as Radjabov and Wang Yue has the same amount of points.
