“BarCamp” Information Technologies, Internet and New Media conference launched in Yerevan today. The participants of the conference were divided into several groups to present and show different web sites and innovations in this field. Maxim Savanevski, Ukraine, told the audience about Barack Obama’s PR campaign during the U.S. presidential elections. He said that the slogan of the PR specialists was “Obama everywhere”. Thousands of short video stories, songs, and ads were available in Youtube, facebook and Twitter. “One billion minute was spent to watch those clips,” he said. The conference is interesting in its format as there are no speakers, the participants themselves are the speakers.
