PORK IMPORT FROM CANADA IS FORBIDDEN
Armenia stops importing pork from Canada, Alexander Alexanyan, of the Ministry of Agriculture, told Panorama.am. According to him the import of the meat is forbidden because pork flu is found some countries. Currently pork is imported only from Brazil, the ministry representative said.
“We just can’t stop the importing because that country will accuse us,” Alexanyan said. Earlier Armenia has neither imported nor exported meat to any country.
Remind: Mr. Alexanyan told Panorama.am in March that the rate of importing and exporting has been significantly reduced in the aftermath of the world crisis.
