LEVON ARONIAN LEADS GRAND PRIX TOURNAMENT
The eleven round of FIDE “Grand Prix” tournament is over. Both Armenian GM-s Levon Aronian and Vladimir Akopian ended their sets with Rustam Kasimjanov and Peter Svidler in draw. Hungarian chess player Peter Leko could have equaled his points with Aronian if he defeated Elianov.
Currently Leko has 6,5 points and follows Aronian on the second horizontal. Alekseev, Akopian and Bacrot have 6 points, Grischuk and Svidler – 5,5 points and Karjakin, Mamediaorv, Kasimjanov, Elianov, Kamsky and Gelfand have 5 points, Ivanchuk has only 4,5 points.
