PRESIDENT SERZH SARGSYAN SENT CONDOLENCE MESSAGE TO GAYANE KHACHTRYAN’S RELATIVES
The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent a condolence letter to the relatives of the famous Armenian painter Gayane Khachatryan commemorating her death, the press department of the President’s Administration reports.
It is said in the message that Armenian fine arts have great loss with Gayane Khachatryan’s death. After Parajanov, Gayane has become the unique symbol of the Armenians community of Tbilisi. Unfortunately her personal exhibition in Venice biannual exhibition will be held without the direct participation of the great painter.
Note that Gayane Khachatryan died yesterday in the morning.
