FOREIGN MINISTER OF TURKEY CHANGES FOREIGN POLICY OF HIS COUNTRY
Ahmet Davutoglu’s nomination as the Foreign Minister of Turkey is good for Armenia, Ruben Safrastyan, the director of the Eastern Studies Institute told reporters. “He wishes to emphasize the regional diplomacy of Turkey reducing west oriented policy of his country. Hence, his catchword is zero problems with the neighbors,” Safrastyan said.
The new Turkish Foreign Minister changes the basic accentuates of Turkey’s foreign policy. According to him Turkey should make efforts to become the ally of the regional countries, instead of being the one with Europe, West and USA.
Ruben Safrastyan says he is sure the Turkish Foreign Minister will make efforts for Turkey to make ties with Armenia without preconditions.
