MINISTER SAYS NUCLEAR POWER STATION CAN HAVE TURKISH SHAREHOLDER
“It is not of great importance for us who the shareholder of the nuclear power station will be. The station should be exploited along with the Armenian law and the responsibilities taken by the international contracts. It does not matter whether it is Russian or Turkish,” Armen Movsisyan, the minister of energy and natural resources announced in National Assembly.
The minister stressed that Australian Worley Parsons Company won the tender to supervise the reconstruction activities of station.
To the ARF deputy Ara Nranyan’s concerns about the Turkish party, the minister emphasized that Turkish party can be a shareholder of the station but a Turkish company can not be authorized to build the station.
