WORLD YOUTH BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP: AIBA MEMBERS SAY IT IS PURE OLYMPIC LEVEL
On 21 May Yerevan hosted the members of AIBA family and international technical officials. The guests have been presented the organizational and managerial activities to hold the World Youth Boxing Championship in Yerevan. The members of the AIBA committee walked around the sport-concert complex and received answers to their questions.
Osvaldo Bisbal (technical delegate) said that everything is well organized. “The most important is that we have found people here ready to organize the championship. AIBA president is also sure that everything will be well held in Yerevan and that we’ll have a perfect sport event,” he said.
The manager of the event, Olaf Waltman said that they are content not only of the perfect welcome but the work done.
Arman Muradyan, the chairman of Armenian Boxing Federation said the AIBA members that everything should be done to have more common big sport events in Yerevan.
Note that our journalist reports that the experts expressed satisfaction of the organizational part of the championship. “This is an Olympic level. We have had a championship in Argentinean sport complex which could not even be compared with the one we see in Yerevan,” said one of the guests.
