RUSSIA MAKES EFFORTS TO LOCALIZE SWINE FLU CASES
Russia takes appropriate measures to stop the development of swine flu in the country, Tatiana Golikova, the Minister of Health and Social Development announced. “In this stage we evaluate the efforts of our authorities complete and comprehensive,” the minister said during a meeting with the experts.
Two swine flu cases have been recorded in Russia; first one was a 28-year-old girl who has just returned from New York and the second one was from Kaluga region, who passed his honeymoon in Dominique Republic.
“Everything is done to localize the situation,” the minister said. Russian citizens are highly recommended not to leave for those countries where the swine flu cases are more expanded: USA, Mexico, Canada, Spain, Japan. Russian doctors are concerned that Russian people are indifferent to their health conditions. They alarm that two cases have already been recorded in the country.
