“MATEMORPHOSIS”: FIGHTING BETWEEN REAL AND VIRTUAL WORLDS
Film maker Ruben Kochar’s “Metamorphosis” is already screened. It took the director to work two years, Ruben Kochar told in a press conference. The author says the film was hard and long to screen because the activities were processed in America.
“The film is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of William Saroyan. We thought we would manage to finish in a year (in 2008) but we failed to. Like in Saroyan’s works, our film is shot in America but it is about Armenians, not that the focus of the film is an Armenian man but the names, things, figures are Armenian.”
According to R. Kochar the structure of the film is an extraordinary one. It’s a sort of collage, which is a new art and has to be newly discovered. “It was a sort risky of me,” the author said and added that finally everything ended successfully.
