NEW HIGHWAY TO LINK YEREVAN-BATUMI
The Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan who is currently paying working visit to Georgia, has discussed on 19 July technical problems of Yerevan-Batumi highway construction with his Georgian counterpart.
After the meeting the Georgian minister announced that in the frames of “Millennium Challenges” project a new road has been constructed from Armenia to Ninotsminda.
“Other roads from Georgia to Armenia have also been reconstructed. In this stage Akhaltskha road is bein constructed, and Armenian delegation will get informed about its processes just when visiting it,” Georgian minister said.
Armenian economy minister announced that the new highway will be a modern one corresponding to the European standards.
