“GOLDEN APRICOT” INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL FINISHED: WINNERS ALREADY ANNOUNCED
A week long international film festival “Golden Apricot” gave unique chance to Armenian film fans to get pleasure from world wide famous films. Currently the winners of the festival are already announced.
According to the official web site of the festival the international jury has also announced the names of the winners and they are:
Feature film competition: “Golden Apricot” main prize went to George Ovashvili for his “The Other Bank” (Georgia) Kazakhstan); special Prize “Silver Apricot” went to Michal Rosa for his “Scratch” (Poland); a special prize from the head of Jury went to Ozcan Alper for his “Autumn” (Turkey / Germany).
Documentary competition: “Golden Apricot” main prize went to Anders Ostergaard for his “Burma VJ - Reporting from a Closed Country” (Denmark); special Prize “Silver Apricot” went to Sergey Bukovsky for his “The Living” (Ukraine); jury Special Prize to Faiza Ahmad Khan for his “Supermen of Malegaon”
Armenian Panorama competition: “Golden Apricot” main prize went to Arka Manukyan for his film “With Love and Gratitude” (Armenia); a Diploma to Levon Kalantar for his “Caucasian Niece” (Armenia); diploma to Frederic Balekdjian for his “A World of Our Own” (France)
FIPRESCI award: to Ozcan Alper for his “Autumn” (Turkey / Germany)
Ecumenical Jury award: to George Ovashvili for his “The Other Bank” (Georgia)
