NEW FILM “65” TO RELEASE EVENTS IN 1965
Hovhannes Galstyan the director of “Entangled Parallels” told reporters at news conference that, he is going to produce a new film “65” devoted to the patriotic movement launched in 1962.
Galstyan says that the name of the film reminds us about those 7 activists of 1965 movement who were arrested and sentenced by article 65 of Criminal Code.
The director says he has been inspired by the new project when shooting finals shots of “Entangled Parallels” in Moscow. But it was also said that “Golden Apricot” film festival has become source of inspiration for the director.
“Currently information of 1965 facts is to be collected. I am trying to talk both with the participants and the eye witnesses. I am going to show that no political alternative was possible during the Soviet Era and that those alternatives were murdered in embryo. Those seven young men have become the victims to feel the severity of the time,” he said.
