LEVON ARONIAN UNDEFEATED IN “CHESS 960”
Traditional chess festival is currently under way in German Mainz. Several tournaments will be conducted in the framework of the festival and the most important one is Rapid World Championship. Olympic champion GM Levon Aronian takes part in the Rapid World Championship with the current World Champion Anand, GM Naiditsch, GM Nepomniachtchi.
Armenian GM first should fight for Fisher’s world champion status. In 2006 and 2007 Levon Aronian became champion of “Chess 960” World Championship. This year Aronian also participates in the Chess 960 World Championship with GMs Movsesian, Nakamura, Bologan.
Levon Aronian has also had three sets with perfect victory.
