The decision of the U.S. California Court of Appeal on recognizing the law on making reimbursement in the frames of life insurance of 1915 genocide victims’ ancestors anti-constitutional does not affect to the process started by “AXA” insurance company, Armenian Ministry of Justice reports.

It’s worth reminding that the Armenian Ministry of Justice has finished its mission of accepting applications on French “AXA” insurance company’s case. Within defined time frame all the submitted applications have been sent to the committee up to 7 January, 2008.

According to the submitted applications, the court is authorized to define the fact of announcing the side ancestor or not. The source says, B. Gartalyan, the executive director of “AXA” committee expresses his condescension for the prolong of the terms, and states that as soon as the court makes its decisions the applicants will be informed about the decision and the details of the future activities.
