PROCURATOR’S SYSTEM SHOULD CORRESPOND TO EU STANDARDS
The working group on implementation of the reforms in procurator’s system has conducted its first sitting chaired by the Secretary General of National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan.
NSC press service reports the mission of the reforms in procurator’s system is to invest procurators’ standards established in the EU states and it has been agreed on by “Armenia-EU” cooperation plan.
In order to reinforce the independence of judges, their impartiality, training, qualification, appointment and improvement, Arthur Baghdasaryan has signified the implementation of the reforms corresponding to the international standards.
It is supposed that some legislative changes will be conducted to make the procurator’s system correspondent to the EU standards.
