FAMOUS FILM MAKER FROM POLAND COACHES “GOLDEN APRICOT” SCHOOL
“Golden Apricot” film school’s 2009-2010 educational year, founded by the “Golden Apricot” Yerevan international film festival, is under way. Deputy Culture Minister Davit Muradyan told at news conference that famous film maker Kshishtof Zanusi from Poland is invited to coach the first classes of the school.
The deputy minister says it is real happiness to host one of the famous film makers in Yerevan.
“We are sure the classes will be based on practical terms and that our students will learn much from the famous film director,” Muradyan said.
Kshishtof Zanusi said that he is happy to be invited to coach those classes and stressed that he is happy to work with young people.
“I am sure that the classes will be practical and that the students will film 3 minutes long movie and I will try to coach them right during their filming activities,” he said.
The classes will be held from 8 to 15 September. Note that 85 applications have been submitted to pass the school, 70 of them were from Armenia and the rest 15 from abroad – Germany, Turkey, Iran, Russia, Romania and Moldova.
