CLINICAL TESTING OF SWINE FLU IN ST. PETERSBURG
The clinical testing of swine flu influenza resume tomorrow in St. Petersburg. 150-200 volunteers are supposed to participate in the testing activities, Russian Health and Social Development Ministry reports.
“The pre-clinical testing of the vaccine is finished and clinical testing will be resumed on 10 September in St. Petersburg,” official from the ministry said.
The clinical testing is well organized and no emergency situations will be recorded. “All the volunteers have been also defined. We have drafted it in 2005 when we held the testing of bird flu,” he said.
Currently 320 are infected with swine flu in Russia.
