WOMEN WORLD TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: ARMENIAN WOMEN – SECOND HORIZONTAL
Armenian women's national team is taking part in the world team championship which is being held in Ningbo, China from 1 to 12 September. Armenian women’s team has defeated Chinese second team in 2,5:1,5 points. The leader of the championship, team of Poland, has been defeated by Chinese first team, hence has put its leadership under question.
The Georgian women’s team has won their sets with the U.S. team and the Russians defeated the Vietnamese. In the final set the Ukrainians were successful as they defeated the Indian chess team.
After the 8th round first team of China rules the championship. Armenian, Russian, Ukrainian and Polish teams share 2-5th horizontals.
