“MORE QUALIFIED CHAMPIONSHIPS COULD BE HELD IN ARMENIA”
Europe Judo Youth Championship is being held in Yerevan from 11 to 13 September. Teams of 38 countries attend the championship. The championship is organized corresponding to the required standards which is stated by the participants also.
Indreg Pertelson (Europe Judo Union director on sports affairs) said: “I have participated and followed quite many championships. Yerevan championship is perfectly organized. The hosts have solved all the questions (hotel, food, medical service, transport, communication, etc.). Local fans are pleasant to us. Higher qualified championships can be held in Armenia.”
Pavel Yatinovski (Belarus) said: “Sport-concert complex is much to respect the culture of Armenian people. The building is unique in the world. I would like to thank the president of Armenian Olympic committee Gagik Tsarukyan, the minister of sport and youth affairs Armen Grigoryan, the president of judo federation Aleksan Avetisyan, as they have worked hard to hold perfect championship.”
