GABRIEL SARGSYAN DEFEATED IN THE FIRST ROUND
Olympic champion Gabriel Sargissian is taking part in the round-robin InventiChess 2009 tournament which is being held in Antwerp, Belgium.
Armenian GM yielded with black figures French Etiene Bacrot in the first round. It’s worth mentioning that only one set of the first round ended in draw.
To conclude after the first round Antoaneta Stefanova, Anna Muzychuk, Etienne Bacrot, Emil Sutovsky gained one point and rule the tournament. Bart Michiels and Krishnan Sasikiran had half points, four chess players including Gabriel Sargsyan have not points.
