180 SUBMITTED APPLICATIONS TO ATTEND CONTACT KARATE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
The activities to organize Armenian open championship of contact karate are under way, press service reports. 180 sportsmen presenting all Armenian local communities have submitted participation applications and started active trainings to be ready not only for the current championship but for Europe Championship, which is scheduled from 24 to 31 October, in Cyprus.
It’s worth mentioning that the organizers work hard to hold perfect open championship, as it is also devoted to the capital city of Armenia, Yerevan.
“We are happy to join all the sportsmen from Armenian regions round karate. We do also join the fete of our capital city,” said Davit Atanesyan, the chairman of “Aikkido” karate federation.
