A. Minasyan says turkey most unreliable partner
ARF fraction member Artsvik Minasyan declared at conference that the bureau took the initiative to investigate the impacts of the normalization of Armenian-Turkish ties on Armenia’s economy and the consequences of opening the border.
In the aftermath of the survey a thick package of consequences have been recorded which, in fact, are not beneficial for Armenia.
People thinking that by opening the border Armenia’s economy will radically develop are mistaken, the deputy says.
According to him Armenia’s and Turkey’s economic potentials are incompatible, the GDP per person in Turkey is 3 times higher, besides, World Trade Organization’s index shows Turkey is the most unreliable partner.
Regarding the national manufacturers, the speaker stressed that Turkey has more beneficial position and it would be naïve to speak about the compatibility of the two economies.
