European weightlifting championship: Armenian team – the winner
European weightlifting championship ended in Vladislavovo, Poland. Armenian sportsmen Agasi Agasyan (77kg, Yerevan, 150 kg+187 kg = 337 kg) and Ruben Alexanyan (Արարատ, 181 kg+235 kg=416 kg) have been qualified champions of the tournament. Agvan Melikyan and Vardan Davtyan occupied the third horizontal
To conclude, Armenia presented eight sportsmen in the championship and three of them have been awarded golden, two – silver and one – bronze medals. Armenian team has become the champion of the championship.
