European Team Championship: Denmark-Armenia – 1:3
GMs Levon Aronian, Vladimir Akopian, Gabriel Sargissian, Arman Pashikian and Tigran L. Petrosian are taking part in the 17th European Team Championship in composition of the Armenian national team. The tournament is being held in Novi Sad, Serbia from October 21 to 30, 2009.
After the first round Armenian team defeated its rival – the team of Denmark (1:3). Vladimir Akopian and Hansen Lars Bo, as well as Gabriel Sargissian and Hansen Sune Berg sets ended in draw. Arman Pashikian defeated Schandorff Lars and Tigran Petrosian defeated Glud Jakob Vang.
Today at the second round Armenian team will meet with Romanian team.
