UNICEF reports child death rate in the world
UNICEF’s annual report says 23 children of 1000 under five die in Armenia.
The toll in Russia forms 13, in Ukraine it is 16, in Moldova – 17, in Kazakhstan and Georgia – 30, in Azerbaijan – 36, in Kyrgyzstan and Uzvekistan the figure is 38, in Turkmenistan – 48 and in Tajikistan – 64.
According to the source 65 children of 1000 die in the world. Today 634 million 631 thousand children under five live in the world.
Africa is in a worse condition as 132 children from 1000 die there. The situation is reported to be better in industrially advanced countries – EU, Norway, Switzerland, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, etc.
