Armenian FM says Kocharyan’s and Sargsyan’s policies don’t differ
Former Armenian President R. Kocharyan’s presidency had as a mission of his foreign policy the recognition of Armenian Genocide, reporter of “Radio Liberty” stated at his talk with Armenian FM Edward Nalbandyan. The reporter noted that President Serzh Sargsyan’s initiative to launch Armenian-Turkish ties seems to have partially changed the direction of that policy. To the question what the reason of such a change is, minister Nalbandyan answered that he doesn’t see any change. “If Armenia’s President declared that neither Genocide issue nor significance of international recognition would be put under question, it’s obvious that no change is recorded,” Armenian FM said.
